You insert gas into a 2-gal plastic can in the back, that's bolted through the bottom into the floor. It gets sucked from there into the real tank through a straw. Since that's done by a universal electric fuel pump piggybacked on the original in-tank pump, you have to keep the motor running while you fill. Beware carpet static!
